It was in the snow and torrential rain that the Ligue Universelle du Bien Public came to Marseille in the Town Hall of the 15-16 arrondissements to present its distinctions in partnership with the Mondial Protection Group.
President J-C Baudry and his wife, Vice-Presidents Pascal Kiekens and Dominique Cordier, accompanied by members of the local Universal League, from Aix en Provence, Gap and others, were happy to meet again. All had massively responded to the exceptional nature of this atypical presentation of distinctions.
Arriving at the Town Hall, we had trouble getting into the room as there were so many people. Both rooms were full.
The presentation began full of emotion and vibrant cheers for the distinguished people.
Senator Samia GHALI, Deputy Mayor Josette FURACE, Yazid ATTALAH, Karima BERRICHE, Michel BOURGAT, Kamel GUEMARI, Moussa MAASKRI, Abdessalem SOUIKI, Hurkan AYGUN, received diplomas and medals rewarding their fights for the Public Good.
The President of the National Association of Ministerial and Parliamentary Collaborators Marc VALADE also came to Marseille to award the Parliamentary GOLD Medal to Josette FURACE and the Architect Pierre GARNIER
The evening ended after a buffet generously offered by the Municipality and a cocktail graciously concocted by the RICARD Group, whose headquarters is nearby. We sincerely thank them.
We would also like to thank the personalities of the Region, the Department and the Town Hall of Marseille who were present as well as the people who spontaneously came to share this solemn moment. The next day, the sun shone on the Canebière and we were able to walk there, admiring its Santons and Christmas market, before heading to Paris.
