GAYE Antoine

My parents come from old families in Haute Corrèze.

I was born in Brive la Gaillarde on June 28, 1960.

I spent a happy childhood in Périgord in a family of 3 children. After my education at public school, I joined the Edmond Michelet school complex (Catholic institute in Brive la Gaillarde) to carry out secondary studies which were honorable with the obtaining of an economic baccalaureate with honors, in 1978.

Subsequently, for 2 years, I successfully completed a DUT in business and administration management.

In 1980, following my father’s health problems, I had to interrupt my higher education to take over the family business in the poultry trade.

I directed, developed and managed this company for 31 years, which transformed from a family home into a large and prosperous industrial group.

This group has invested in citizenship and people with more than 600 farmer-breeder households and 350 employees in the processing tool.

During these 3 decades, we had helped to invest in more than 250 farms in great difficulty, by creating poultry workshops to sustain and support their homes with dignity: the success was 100% total!

At the same time, within our transformation tool, we had recruited, trained and hired on permanent contracts more than 150 people without training and in great material difficulty; all of these employees have integrated very well into our group.

In 1986, I participated in the creation of Restos du Coeur in the Aquitaine and Limousin regions, in several departments; I carried out, with other business leaders, interventions in order to find premises, to arrange them, to furnish them: kitchens, dishes, etc…

For more than 15 years, and this, until 2011, our group provided free and regular large quantities of poultry products and this, anonymously. I founded in 1994 a family of 3 children.

In 2011, following the avian flu epidemic that started 5 years earlier in 2006, in pain, I had to give up and give up this group.

In 2013, I was the victim of a serious road accident while cycling. In 2016, after more than 32 months of extensive care, I joined the Mondial Protection Group as project manager for public and institutional relations.

In this Group, I invest myself with determination, motivation and pleasure. Currently, whenever I am asked to help with civic and human projects, it is with real pleasure that I get involved.

It is with honor that the Universal League of Public Good distinguishes you from its Silver medal with Palm and Crown.

Knowing and letting people know, improving the quality of life of fragile people have always guided my commitment to causes where the absence of treatment, of hope, of addiction fuel fears, dehumanize and lead to the breaking of the societal bond. Joining the Médéric Alzheimer Foundation is obvious to me after a professional career of more than 25 years in structures working to advance the cause of neurodegenerative diseases. You are honored to join the teams of this Foundation to implement an ambitious roadmap in the field of human and social sciences and support for carers, especially professionals who are today exposed on the front line with the health crisis we are going through.
