Universal League for Public Welfare

Delivery of December 3, 2021

It is at least that the handover was made to the Republican Guard in the Valmy room of the mess of the Célestins barracks – Paris 4.

En effet la Covid a encore une fois contrarié notre réunion.

It was planned 110 people with 18 awards of distinction from people from all over the world.

In 10 years of very active volunteering, she has held various positions, both in the social field, and in that of intervention, and relief to people. And she qualifies in first aid, by becoming a first aid worker herself. This allows her to take many Guards within the Rescue Network of SAMU 92. This Associative Vocation matures in her, her desire to exercise a profession with real human values. It was then that she naturally chose to pass, and pass, the competition to become a nurse… And she continued her education at the Institute for Training in Nursing at the Raymond Poincaré Hospital in Garches in the Hauts de Seine.

Béatrice Montambaux has done many internships in different fields, such as nursing homes, infectious diseases, neurology, psychiatry, geriatrics, internal medicine, medical resuscitation, orthopedic surgery, cardiology, and home hospitalization. At the end of this long course, rich in many experiences, she chose to focus on the “Relational” side, rather than the “Technical” side. Béatrice Montambaux began practicing her nursing profession in 2017, in an Orthopedic Surgery Department.

Very quickly, she goes to the Maternity Department of the Antoine Béclère Hospital in Clamart… And there! It was a real “Revelation”… She finally found the job that suited her. Anasthasia ROUMEGA (Stassia)

She was born in Moscow in 1993 to a mother of Russian nationality and a father of French nationality, both residing in Moscow. She has Russian and French nationalities.

It was at the end of 2016 that she went to Paris to complete her university course and obtain a specialized MBA in “Luxury Brand Marketing and International Management”.

Until then, she lived in Moscow, where she graduated from the “School of World Politics” of Lomonosov State University, the Russian equivalent of “Political Sciences” in France.

Stassia has always considered that it was a question of bringing, in the context of a post-Soviet Russia, still traumatized and disorganized, help to the hardest hit by this deep crisis, namely young children and the elderly. It was while she was completing her university years that she put together a team, whose members she selected from among the most motivated elements of her classmates. This, for the sole purpose of developing actions dedicated to people in need.

  • In 2014, she decided with her team to help rebuild the Orphanage in the city of Andreapol, a city located in the Tver region in northwestern Russia. This region was hit very hard by the crisis, since it lost all its industry following the collapse of the USSR. Many of the children of this agglomeration were abandoned by their parents, without protection or schooling.
    • A large Charity Ball was therefore organized in Moscow to raise funds to finance the reconstruction work of this Orphanage… The collection won 30,000 euros.
  • Over the period 2014 to 2017, funds were collected for the benefit of work carried out by the Federal Oncological Institute in Moscow.
  • Between 2015 and 2016, financial aid was collected for:
    • The orphanage of the city of Selizharovo (Tver region) for children with disabilities,
    • Repair work on the N13 retirement home in the Tver region of Russia
  • In 2015, still within the framework of the orphanage of the city of Andreapol, financial contribution to the complete realization of the repair works of the building. Funds collected during the organization of charitable events (prestige ball, raffles, sponsorship of shows, etc.)
    • Organization of stays for orphans, 2-3 times a year in Moscow, in order to make them visit the circuses and theaters of the capital.
    • Establishment of a fund dedicated to providing material assistance, for a period of one year, to children (+16 years old, whose stay in the orphanage has ended.
  • Collecting funds in Moscow for “The Palestine Children’s relief fund”, an organization founded in the USA in 1991 to provide aid, mainly medical aid, to Arab children and more precisely Palestinians . Stassia received a diploma for her contribution.
  • In 2017 Stassia received the distinction of Etoile Civique in the Senate in France.
  • In 2020, she participated in the Association for Aid to Lebanese Orphanages, following the explosion in the port of Beirut. Also in this same year of 2020, she took an active part in the “Women for Sciences” Foundation dedicated to helping women from poor countries wishing to pursue a scientific career.

Anasthasia is now working in France for TOTAL ENERGIES, as “Cyber Security Project Manager”. She is also in charge of Communication for the High Tech Division of this French oil company.

For all her actions in the context of Public Good, Stassia was awarded the Silver Medal with Palme.

This blog took the form of a podcast in 2021, “Who’s afraid of feminism? which offers interviews and debates about the place of women in fiction, whether literary, television, or cinematographic, but also in society.

Having devoted her doctoral thesis and university articles to the difficult access of women to literary writing, it is with conviction that she tries her hand at the exercise of literary criticism within the review Etudes et of writing novels.
